Skills
My skills and interests generally skew toward the frontend, but I do have some experience
working in the backend (in fact, I worked in PHP before learned JavaScript). I highly enjoy working with React
and it's related ecosystem.
- JavaScript: ES5 - ES2015+, jQuery
- React ecosystem: React, React Native, Redux
- Frontend development: JS, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap
- Backend: LAMP stack - CentOS/Ubuntu, Apache, MySQL, PHP
- Version control: Git, GitLab, GitHub
- Backend services: Netlify, Graph.cool
- Other: Babel, Webpack, Rollup, Jest, Jasmine, Bash
- Editors: VSCode, SublimeText
Work Experience
I spent years as an aspiring artist working odd jobs before settling in to what I thought
would be a career selling art. When it became clear that it wasn't for me, I started to become serious about
being a full time developer. Now I get to do what I love, and I couldn't be happier!
- 2015 - Present: Full-Stack Web Developer, IntuitSolutions
- 2013 - 2015: Online Auction Director, Great Dane Auctions
- 2010 - 2013: Gallery Director, I. Brewster & Sons Gallery
- 2010: Marketing & Programming Intern, Philagrafika
Education
One of the things I am most passionate about is learning. I feel strongly that everyone should
aspire to be a lifelong learner. In my free time, I like to expand my knowledge by reading and
taking online courses. I try to learn something new every day.
- React Nanodegree - Udacity
- Frontend Web Developer Nanodegree - Udacity

Interests
I am passionate about web development, but I am passionate about other things as well!
- Watching baseball and football (Phillies and Eagles!)
- Reading - lately it's been mostly Science Fiction and Cyberpunk
- I truly will listen to just about any music (as long as it's good). Punk, classical, rap, you name it
- I've been in a weekly bowling league for the past 5 or so years, and I also play some golf
